Hej!
Igår kom det ett brev från Tyskland med lite info om vad man bör tänka på angående V1 Reichenberg. Jag har nu fått min ritning som jag beställde men nu tvekar jag. Kanske köper jag kitet nämnt nedan i stället.
Hello Jakob!
This is Stefan Heuel from Germany.
I just can say you, that a bavarian named Roland Haug is the owner/pilot of the Pulsejet powered Reichenberg on the pictures.
And I´m nearly sure that there are no plans available because the model
has been built for an German museum before a long time. Then Roland bought
it an made it flyable. That explaines why this model ist so heavy ( 13 Kg)
Its more a flying stone, than a flying bomb
But if you are interested in a Reichenberg, I can tell you that a friend of
mine is building a full scale Reichberg in 1:3,3 in GRP ( I hope that ist
the correct shortcut )
I think that it will be ready this year. He also said that he will sale
kits from it.
The problem is the weight of the engine. If you look on the leverage of the
Reichenberg, you will see that a heavy engine will need much trim lead in
the Front. So the Goal is to use an engine wich is as light as possible.
In the plan of the Pulso 1 is said that it will reach about 5,5-7 Kp
Thrust. With my experience I think this thrust wont be reached any way by
this pulsejet. 4 Kp ist more realistic.
So the thrust/weight relation is very bad.
What you need is a High End Pulsjet of the 90mm class. They have around 6
Kp Thrust but they weight only about 900-1200g.
So stay tuned.
Meanwhile you can look around on my Homepage. www.pulsorohr.de
