Sony Nex5 R Converter

Har testat satt HDMI i auto osv....har tyvärr ingen HDMI kabel för test till tv, men får kolla det, så det är ok från kameran!

I had exactly the same problem, I cant remember exactly, but changing the AV output type on the nex R worked, it might have been resolution, or it might have been aspect ratio.

picture worked fine on TV, but nothing on the fatsharks until i found the right setting. Battery is dead at the moment, so I cant help more tonight. Buts its definatly a setting on the camera, and using a TV will not help.

If I remember right. The light came on on the HDMI comverter for a few seconds, then it turned off as if losimg power, changing the settimg on the camera allowed the power to stay on.

Har haft problem att hitta en flexibel HDMI kabel som är tillräckligt lång...
Med denna smarta lösning kan man ju ta vilken smidig 2 trådskabel som helst :-)
Och så kan man ju skippa ebay-konvertern plus strömsladd och AVI kablar till densamma.

Alltså! Ingen som vet inställningar på sin Nex 5? Har som ecks att lampan på hdmi konvertern tänds och släcks! Tycker jag testat alla inställningar, men tydligen inte!

Have to admit, I forgot. Just put the camera on charge and got the converter out, should be able to test it in 30 mins, when the kids are in bed.

Okay got it.

in main settings, HDMI resolution must be set to 1080i. If its set to auto or 1080P, it obviously doesnt give the converter enough power. But set to 1080i the fatsharks should work. This doesnt effect recording quality, just live view quality, and 1080i is way higher than the fatsharks anyway.

edit: after reading the thread properly, I see you already tried this. If your go pro is working in the fatsharks then the fatsharks are obviously set up right.

Has your converter got a PAL/NTSC switch on the side? Try switching this and also changing the PAL/NTSC setting on the camera.

Tack för det, men fungerar inte ändå, blå lampan tänds bara ibland! Skall testa utan IOSD mini om det blir någon skillnad!
